Our experienced crews understand local neighborhoods, campuses, and logistics, allowing us to move efficiently while treating your belongings with the care they deserve. From apartments to full households, we make local moves straightforward and stress-free.
Local moving is charged by the hour according to the State of Washington Transportation Tariff. Loads going over 55 miles and transported by our agency are charged by the pound and calculated according to miles traveled.
Long-Distance & Interstate Moving

Long-distance moves require more coordination—and more trust. Pratt Moving & Storage alongside Mayflower Transit provides well-organized long-distance and interstate moving services with careful planning and clear communication every step of the way. We handle the details so you can focus on what’s next, knowing your belongings are in capable hands.
We can give ballpark rates for potential moves, or provide a free in-person walk through to quote your move. We recommend calling well in advance of your move, at least 30 days for long-distance and 2 weeks or more for local. The sooner the better!

Packing is often the most time-consuming part of moving. Whether you need help with a few fragile items or your entire home or office, our team packs carefully and efficiently using proven methods and quality materials. We take the same care packing your belongings as we do moving them.
We can also create a box or crate to ship a specific item via freight carrier or USPS, just give us a call to talk over your options.
